Active Project Spotlight
Poinciana Lakes Plaza, located in Poinciana, Florida on the corner of Marigold and Cypress Parkway, right next to Florida Poinciana Hospital.
Located on just under 34 acres, this power center is a mixed-use development and is a collaboration between Cuhaci Peterson and our friends at Kimley-Horn and MEC General Contractors. The project consists of two primary phases (A/B) and six out parcels. Phases A/B each hold a primary building combination consisting of a grocery seat, a fitness seat, six junior boxes and 12 combination retail, office and restaurant spaces. All permits have been granted for primary phases one and two and for one of the outparcels that Cuhaci Peterson is responsible for.
Cuhaci Peterson will be redesigning the grocery seat to accommodate a new tenant grocer, along with five additional retail spaces. Construction began with the groundbreaking on January 26th and to date, both phase one and phase two buildings have completely poured slabs. Phase one was put on hold due to the redesign requirements of phase two having been accelerated. The crane was seated on July 18th and tilt walls began to go vertical July 24th. That means the phase two building will be quite ahead of phase one. We expect to start turning over buildings by the end of the year for tenant spaces for tenant improvement, starting with the fitness end of the facility.
