Upon entry, residents and guests are greeted by a rotunda complete with a library and sitting areas, designed to create an inviting ambiance and functioning as a comfortable space to relax. Chatham Glen’s architectural layout is crafted with the residents’ needs in mind. It spans a single story and is divided into four distinct neighborhoods of care, designed to cater to different requirements. The facility includes wings with private and semi-private beds, striking a balance between personal space and communal living. Each neighborhood at Chatham Glen has its own dining and living areas. Beyond these personal spaces, communal areas are shared, encouraging residents to come together. A café, activity room and beauty salon/barber shop offer opportunities to enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
The exterior blends brick, horizontal siding and stucco, resulting in an unassuming yet inviting facade. This design not only aligns with the aesthetic of the environment but also signifies a dedication to preserving tradition while embracing contemporary design.
