Leslie Cook brings over 15 years of experience in construction and real estate project management to her role as Regional Manager of Business Development at Cuhaci Peterson. She began her career as a project manager in New York City, New York, where she led complex, fast-paced projects in multifamily, retail, cultural, restoration and mixed-use. Her hands-on experience in construction and development has given her expertise to help clients navigate challenges and achieve successful outcomes. With over 100 hours of OSHA and site safety training, Leslie has strongly prioritized operational excellence and jobsite safety.
At Cuhaci Peterson, Leslie combines her extensive project management background with a keen business sense to drive strategic growth, strengthen client relationships, and ensure technical execution aligns with business objectives. She previously led national business development and sustainability initiatives, driving market expansion and developing seller-doer programs at top construction management firms.
A passionate advocate for affordable housing and community development, Leslie is committed to enhancing access to housing for all and promoting stronger, more vibrant communities. She is actively involved with organizations like Women of ULI, Hackensack Meridian Foundation, Women of Housing and Finance of New York City, The Pipeline and ICSC.
An award-winning industry leader, Leslie is recognized as one of the top women in the construction industry. She is a published author and a frequent moderator and speaker at industry events. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and advanced certifications in Project Management and Human Resources from Villanova University.
In her spare time, Leslie enjoys traveling (off the grid), hobby farming, rescuing animals and being a mom.
