Bill Mathers serves as the Manager of Structural Engineering at Cuhaci Peterson, where he leads and oversees the team’s operations. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The Citadel, and his extensive experience encompasses numerous areas, including advanced composites, ground penetrating radar and other geophysical methods.
Recognized for his exceptional managerial skills, Bill is known for his expertise in innovative design and strategic analysis across diverse sectors such as commercial, residential, industrial, governmental, educational, medical, entertainment and retail. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, he has also made notable contributions as an author, inventor and application developer. In 2023, Bill had the opportunity to present on “First Movements: Application of Artificial Intelligence in Structural Design” at the esteemed National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA) virtual conference.
With more than 30 years of experience in structural design and licensure in 45 states, Bill brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He has a keen interest in artificial intelligence and aims to inspire others in the industry to embrace its potential in their processes.
