Hard Rock International is putting nearly $7 million into renovating its San Antonio cafe on the River Walk.
The three-story renovation will include new private rooms, audio and visual equipment, televisions, tables, chairs, performance stage and other fixtures. The expansion will accommodate another 100 people.
“We’re really excited to bring new state-of-the-art upgrades to San Antonio, both inside and outside of the cafe,” Hard Rock San Antonio general manager Keith Airington said in a statement.
Construction at the cafe at 111 W. Crockett St. is expected to start Sept. 3 and conclude in late November, just before the holidays. It will remain open during the renovations.
Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio opened in 1995.
