A seasoned architect and design professional, Steven Duffy, has joined Cuhaci & Peterson to head up the firm’s grocery unit.
Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers, and Planners, a national architectural and engineering services provider, announces the addition of Steven M. Duffy as Vice President and Sector Leader of grocery projects. In this role, Duffy will head and build the firm’s grocery unit, helping extend capabilities in both multi-unit and branding and design efforts.

Duffy comes to Cuhaci and Peterson with 25 years of experience as an architect and design professional, the bulk as national retail focused experience, spanning big box to boutiques. His work has encompassed multiple facets of grocery and retail design including store development programs, prototyping, and brand reinvention. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Store Design and Purchasing at the Golub Corporation, managing the flagship grocery brands Price Chopper, Market Bistro and the emerging Market32.
In addition to being a registered architect, Duffy is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, is Green Globes Certified, a member of the Food Marketing Institute and is a regular contributor to Progressive Grocer magazine.
