An Engineer Designer will have an Associate’s degree from a Technical School; and a minimum of 8 years engineering experience with demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities:
• Prepares construction documents and specifications for a project with complex features.
• Prepares calculations using engineering formulas and skills.
• Uses catalogs to specify items where original design is not required.
• Organizes designs and details to produce a completed set of construction drawings.
• Researches and writes reports/opinions.
• Utilizes various engineering related computer software.
• Identifies specifications for writing special programs that resolve unique engineering assignments.
• Prepares estimates and quantity takeoffs.
• Conducts field work/surveys.
• Assists in the preparation of contract specifications.
• Assists in gathering data on all applicable existing utilities/conditions associated with the contract documents.

Job Description: The Project Architect candidate we seek will have a minimum of 15 years of architectural experience.
The successful candidates shall have:
• Minimum of a Florida License
• Retail/Grocery Store project experience
• Experience with ground up, retrofits and remodels including surveying of existing conditions
• Experience maintaining project schedules and budgets
• Experience working within corporate design guidelines and protocols
• Experience in all project phases, including CA - is a PLUS
• Ability to work on an assortment of projects at various phases simultaneously
• Experience coordinating the work of multiple disciplines, primarily MEP and structural engineers
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit a PLUS

Job description: The Project Engineer is responsible for the management of medium to large or complex engineering projects, including design, construction documents, permitting, bidding and construction administration.
The successful candidates shall have:
• Current engineering license – various licenses a PLUS
• A minimum of 10 years experience in a professional engineering office with a solid background in commercial projects – specifically grocery store (new/remodels) and big box projects
• A complete understanding of building construction methods, techniques, building systems, cost implications, as well as the major model codes
• Successful client and project management experience
• High proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Revit (a +) and engineering modeling tools
• The ability to follow projects from conception through design and construction to ensure final systems function to meet client expectations of reliability, maintainability, sustainability, efficiency and budget
• The ability to meet fast-paced deadlines
