Brett Rylands

VP of Structural Engineering

Brett is a man of firsts. In addition to being a member of the First Generation Mustang Club, Brett also holds the distinction of being the first structural engineer at Cuhaci & Peterson. Prior to joining C&P, Brett spent 11 years at a design/build firm engaged in national and international specialty structures.

A few of his more notable projects are the Las Vegas "Eiffel Tower" and Balloon Sign, Al Fasaliah Center (Saudi Arabia), Naples Museum of Art (Florida), the Lynx Central Station (Florida), and Orlando Science Center (Florida).

In addition to his engineering talents, Brett offers C&P clients the benefit of considerable experience with a wide range of materials and methods. "I take a very common sense approach to construction. This has come directly from many years working in the field and fabrication shops - recognizing the best designs are more often a synthesis of many factors - some human in nature. This is where art meets science."

Brett is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). He is also a board member of the Central Florida Chapter of Florida Structural Engineers Association (FSEA)
