Director of Technology

The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential. — Steve Ballmer

As the Director of Technology/Facilities, Jay Adkinson takes on a fairly unique role on the C&P leadership team. Jay joined Cuhaci & Peterson in 1992 with a background in computer systems management, design, drafting, structural and civil engineering. From there, he’s taken the firm from 4 computers at 1 facility to over 200 work stations at 5 office locations. In addition to those logistical maneuvers, this University of Central Florida graduate keeps tabs on the latest technological advances and makes sure C&P has them.“I remember running my first computer model in a hydrology class in 1984! Staying ahead of the game is what keeps me and the talent here motivated and excited about the possibilities and what keeps C&P a leading architectural firm.” Jay is a true company man, who draws professional inspiration from the people that he works with.
